    • Coordinate three departments (marketing, production and editorial) to meet hourly and daily deadlines
    • Paginating the entire paper and sending it electronically to the printer.
    • On call 24/7 to help troubleshoot ad production, daily pagination and night pagination
    • Ensure quality control over every advertisement that runs within the newspaper.
    • Train a staff of 8 in the use of Adobe Photoshop and other image editing programs in the production of advertisements.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Ad Production department when the manager is away.
     
    Graphic Designer – Ad Production   
    • Design, review and edit advertisements to be printed in the Daily Bruin.
    • Design on a MAC platform using multiple graphic editing programs including: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop InDesign, Quark XPress, MultiAd Creator 6.

    • Conduct day-to-day operations in classrooms, oversee set-up, and assist instructors and students with use of CLICC resources.
    • Coordinate staff and user training; assist with resource scheduling and deployment as will as test hardware and software.
